Q: Do you offer scholarships?
A: We offer merit scholarships in the range of $2,000 to $6,000 for freshman (undergraduate) students and $1,000 to $3,000 for transfer students. You will be automatically considered for a scholarship when we review your completed general application for admission. You do not have to apply separately for a scholarship.
Q: Can I work on campus?
A: There are some work opportunities available for international students.
Q: Do you have an ESL program?
A: Yes, Utica University offers an intensive English language (ESL) program. For details, visit the IELP program page.
Q: What do students do for fun at Utica University?

Q: Do you require SAT/ACT scores?
A: SAT (I or II) or ACT scores are not required for undergraduate applicants except for the following majors: Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.
Q: Can I be exempted from TOEFL or IELTS?

Q: Can I play sports at Utica University?
A: There are many opportunities for international students to participate in athletic competition at Utica University. We offer 25 intercollegiate varsity sports, 15 intramural sports, and a number of club sports. Visit www.uticapioneers.com for more information.
Q: Does Utica College offer on-campus housing?
A: International students have access to on-campus housing for all four years of their undergraduate experience at Utica.
Q: Can I live off campus?
A: International students who enter Utica as first-year studnets can live off-campus in their third and fourth years. International transfer students have the option to live off-campus.

A: Utica University graduates start careers in a variety of fields and professions. Our alumni have joined world-renowned companies including Hewlett Packard, Earnst & Young, Citibank, PWC, IMB, Google, Sanofi-Avantis, General Motors, and SUNY Upstate Medical Center, to name a few. Q: When should I apply?
A: Utica University is on a rolling admissions system, meaning that we do not have an application deadline. However, we encourage all students to apply as early as possible, as space is limited.
