IITS Services Downtime Listing
The below details specify exact downtime times for various services, based on the Utica College IITS Policies available on the Policies page.
The following services will be unavailable for use at the specified times due to regular maintenance or backup. Other downtimes will occur Friday afternoons when needed and notices prior to those downtimes will be sent to the college community via email.
All times are listed in Utica College local time. New York State observes Daylight Savings Time; local time will be either Eastern Standard or Eastern Daylight Time.
ANGEL - ANGEL downtime will be announced via a post on the ANGEL home page, reached upon login.
WebCT - during these times no users will be able to access resources on the online course system. Users who are logged in at the start of the downtime will be disconnected.
- each Wednesday, 2:00pm to 5:00pm
- each Saturday, 2:30am to 7:30am
Novell - this affects the ability to login to campus computers. Users logged in prior to the backup will remain on their computers, but any files that are open will not be backed-up.
- nightly, from midnight to 6am.
Banner - users will not be able to access native Banner, and possibly BannerWeb during backup downtimes.
