ALL ABOUT LEARNING SERVICES
You've probably gotten through some (or all) of your must-do's by now. This U-MAIL issue is about Utica College's Office of Learning Services, which provides advisement, advocacy, and academic support to:
(Need help? Just contact us!)
- students who identify themselves as having a disability, and
- students who may experience academic difficulties.
WHO SHOULD CONTACT LEARNING SERVICES ASAP? Students who:
- have used an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan in high school; or
- have a physical, health, or other disability
...should contact the Office of Learning Services as soon as possible, so that we can review records, determine current needs and establish appropriate accommodations.
The staff in the Office of Learning Services meet with first-year students on a weekly basis to assist them with classes, accommodations, and getting accustomed to life at Utica College. They will be your advisers, advocates, and support system from your arrival at UC to the day you graduate.
