The Office of Financial Aid works closely with each student to ensure maximum access to a broad range of scholarships, grants, student loans, and other forms of aid.

Scholarships, grants, loans, and other forms of financial aid dramatically reduce out-of-pocket costs for the vast majority of UC students every year.
- More than 90 percent of UC students receive financial aid assistance from the College.
- Aid packages typically offset more than half of the cost of tuition at UC
- The average freshman financial aid package for fall 2007 was $24,802, including grants, scholarships, work study jobs, and student loans
- In fall 2007, the average institutional gift aid award was $11,739.
