Palmisano enters his seventh season as varsity tight end coach for the Utica College football program. Palmisano has been with the program since it's inception in 2000. 

Palmisano, who also works as a teacher in the Utica City School District, began his coaching career as the offensive coordinator at Proctor High School from 1975-1977.  He then spent the next two years as the assistant offensive line coach at SUNY Brockport.  After leaving Brockport he took over head coaching duties at JFK High School in Utica.  In nine seasons at JFK he took the school from the bottom of the conference to a New York State Top 20 Class 'B' ranking four consecutive seasons, with the highest ranking being 6th.  While at JFK he sent four players to Division I institutions including Miami University, Syracuse University and Temple University.  Following his success at JFK he took over offensive coordinator duties at Utica Free Academy for two seasons. 

Palmisano graduated with a bachelor's degree in education from Daeman College in 1974.  He was the captain of the baseball team and played first base and pitcher.  He was an All-County football and baseball player at Proctor High School where he graduated in 1968. 

Frank currently resides in New Hartford, NY with his son Michael.
