SOFTBALL VOLUNTEERS AT THE ELK'S LODGE DURING OFF-SEASON

On Thursday, September 11, the Utica College women’s softball team volunteered by helping to serve dinner at the Elks Lodge in Utica. The event was a fundraiser for the veterans and armed forces as it coincided with the anniversary of 9-11.

SOFTBALL PLACES TWO ON EMPIRE 8 ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS

The Utica College softball team placed two student-athletes on Empire 8 All-Conference teams released Tuesday. Freshman outfielder Kim Martin was named to the first-team; while junior outfielder Abby Drew earned honorable mention.

UC SOFTBALL SPLITS SEASON FINALE DOUBLE HEADER AGAINST RPI

The Utica College softball team wrapped up its 2008 campaign splitting two games on the road against RPI Wednesday afternoon, losing the first 5-1 and winning the second 4-1.
