WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS IN OVERTIME AGAINST FISHER

The Utica College women's soccer team let a 2-1 lead slip away as they lost to visiting St. John Fisher College 3-2 in overtime Saturday at the UC Soccer Field. With the loss the Pioneers dropped to 1-1-2 in Empire 8 Conference play.

UC WOMEN'S SOCCER TIES RIT IN CONFERENCE PLAY

The Utica College women's soccer team took an early 1-0 lead but could not hold on as they allowed a goal in the 84th minute and went on to tie visiting RIT 1-1 in Empire 8 Conference action Saturday. Danielle Smith scored the lone goal for the Pioneers, while freshman Jamie Merdinger earned her first collegiate assist.

UTICA WOMEN'S SOCCER ALLOWS FOUR UNANSWERED GOALS IN LOSS TO UNION

The Utica College women's soccer team led 1-0 at the half but allowed four goals in the second half and lost 4-1 Wednesday against visiting Union College on the grass at the Utica Soccer field. Senior Ashley Granger netted the lone goal for UC.
