At 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 11, 2013, Professor Craig Duncan, Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Philosophy, Ithaca College, gave a public lecture titled "No 'Internal Exiles':  Human Dignity and Fair Equality of Opportunity". The talk was hosted in the ECJS Carbone Auditorium on Utica College's campus at 1600 Burrstone Rd., Utica, NY.

Professor Duncan  discussed dignity as it promotes the fair equality of opportunity.  This understanding was used to decry inequalities in, for example, public education and childhood poverty rates which impact many minority communities.
