"In the Crosshairs: Private Gun Ownership"
At 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 5, 2013, Professor Timothy Hall, Associate Professor of Philosophy, Oberlin College gave a public lecture titled "In The Crosshairs: Private Gun Ownership". The talk was hosted in the Library Concourse on Utica College's campus at 1600 Burrstone Rd., Utica, NY. Professor Jack Weinstein, Professor of Philosophy, University of North Dakota, was scheduled to attend but unfortunately had to cancel due to inclement weather.
Hall's primary claim was that one has the right to own a gun in the name of self-defense.
