UC, Hospitals to Host Health, Wellness Seminar
UC Students, Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Discuss Aquatic Wellness

Students present on benefits of aquatics wellness programs

Utica, NY (04/29/2015) - Utica College health studies students, in collaboration with Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, will present a seminar on the benefits of an aquatics wellness program on Wednesday, May 6 from 1 to 2 p.m.The presentation will be held in Macfarlane Auditorium in DePerno Hall on the Utica College campus. The seminar is free and open to the public.
Utica College’s major in health studies provides students the foundation for careers in a variety of health-related professions. Students utilize the state-of-the-art laboratories in F. Eugene Romano hall to further their studies. While some students continue their studies for advanced degrees in occupational or physical therapy, other health studies students have gone on to careers in health administration, exercise physiology, athletic training and more.
