Racioppa appointed as new Interim Assistant Dean of Students & Campus Life

Rich Racioppa has been promoted to the position of Interim Assistant Dean of Students & Campus Life in the Office of Student Affairs.

Rich joined UC in September 2006 as a Coordinator of First Year Student Support. In 2011 he was promoted to Director for Student Success and then in 2015 went on to become the Executive Director for Student Success. In 2018, Rich transitioned to the role of Director for Student Athlete Success & Recruitment. Rich holds a master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and brings many years of collegiate experience working at SUNY Institute of Technology & Herkimer Community College.

In his new role he will be responsible for the success of student engagement, residential life, residential curriculum and student campus activities. He will work to implement prevention education programs, improve policies and procedures, and increase access and quality serving as a point of information for students and responding to students’ needs.
