Nassar Prize Poetry Reading: Summer Hart

Winner of the 2024 Eugene Paul Nassar Poetry Prize Summer J. Hart will give a reading on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wilcox Center. The reading is open to the public.
Summer won the Nassar Prize for her poetry collection Boomhouse, published by The 3rd Thing press. She is a mixed-media artist and writer whose work has been supported by NYSCA/NYFA and MacDowell fellowships. Her creative work appears in Best Small Fictions 2023 and numerous journals, and her mixed-media installations have been featured in shows and galleries across the country. Summer is of Mi’gmaq and Anglo-Scottish descent. Summer is a member of the Listuguj Mi’gmaq First Nation.
