Training
Training is required for all IRB members, Principal Investigators, and other members of research teams, including faculty advisers of student research. More information can be found at the Training Resources links below.
Training modules for Utica University researchers, Utica University faculty overseeing student research, and Utica University IRB committee members is provided through CITI. To take courses, you need to register with CITI to create an account using the Register button on the CITI home page. You must register using your @utica.edu email address so your course completion is recorded properly. Please note that CEU credits are available for you to purchase, but are not covered as part of the Utica University training subscription. If you select CEU credits or 'Other Participants-Certificates of Participation' in step 5 of the registration process, you will be responsible for charges that are incurred.
When you complete all course modules with a passing grade (80%), you will receive a course completion report. Based on the nature of research you are conducting, you may be required to complete supplemental modules specific to your study. Your training is good for 3 years from date of completion.
